UP/AMTRAK special at Union Station in Little Rock, Thursday, February 6, 2003...arrived 355 p.m., left for Dallas 405 p.m. It was 33 degrees with light rain and snow mixed.

Arrival of the special was at 355 p.m. (from St Louis, I believe). Included was Amtrak locomotive #13, Amtrak Business Car 10001 and UP Observation car "Cheyenne." It stopped to change crews and pick up supplies.

Rear of UP "Cheyenne" with unknown dignitaries. Note snow on ground.

Thought I'd get the "Cheyenne" reflected in the Amtrak office windows. Train prepares to leave at right.

The special left Little Rock at 405 p.m. I was located on south side of Union Station.

Off to Dallas!! Hope those aboard were warmer that I was!! (Ken Ziegenbein) Robin Thomas was also there taking pictures.
