I came across this scene by accident as 844 traveled past Palarm Creek off  Highway 365 on its way from North Little Rock to Conway, Arkansas on Friday, May 26, 2006. The time was 9:12 a.m. I caught a fishing boat in that lily-pad covered lake and the short trestle and knowing 844 was just behind me, I pulled off, took my light readings, focused and the train zipped by.
