Sunday, September 2, 2007 at Little Rock, Arkansas. Of special interest today was a bright red CP locomotive plus an 'almost' unit train of truck or car frames. Included today: UP 4709, 3273, 5057, 9300, Y1337 *** CP Rail 4404.




UP 4709 and CP Rail 4404 rounds the curve at south Union Station in Little Rock, September 2, 2007 at 8:59 a.m.




CP Rail 4404 is a former Soo Line GP38-2.(Thanks to DJ Holmes, Saginaw, TX for the update)



UP 3273 with a near-unit 'frame train' of truck or auto frames. It have a few autoracks at the end. Time was 9:12 a.m.






UP 5057 at 9:46 a.m.




UP 9300 on same train.


This interesting train came by at 10:11 a.m. with UP Y1337 in the lead, cab trailing.


This sort of reminds me of my Lionel set I had years ago. What was the white cloth or whatever on the front?


Heading southbound, probably to Biddle Yards in Little Rock.
