UP 5657, August 2, 2007, with a loaded
coal train having just crossed the Arkansas River into Little Rock at
11:41 a.m.

A good little weed - reminds me of a mini-palm tree. The UP weed
sprayer came through here two days later.

UP 5201, August 2, 11:58 a.m.

From the north side of the tracks, Saturday August 4, 2007.

UP 1472, 9:22 a.m.

BNSF hoppers with different trademarks.

HLCX 5103, 9:53 a.m.

CN 2428.

Note the helicopter upper center.

Very same scene, with the helicopter cropped and enlarged.

UP 5168 southbound, 10:11 a.m. August 4.

Closeup of berries on the scrubbery I was standing next to.

A sharp looking BNSF autotrain is coming in on Main No. 1 from the
south, at 10:24 a.m., headed by BNSF 7047. The track to the right
belongs to the Little Rock & Western shortline.

BNSF 7047.

Auto-Max auto carriers. These look sharp to me and this whole train
consisted of these and other autoracks.

UP 4995, 10:45 a.m. Note the railfans to the left including the
red-headed boy, who along with his father have been viewing trains at
the station for awhile. The boy is really excited about trains.

Vegetation sprayer at 10:55 a.m. There goes my tiny palm-like weeds!

Has anyone seen this before? I haven't. A truck pulling a work train of
4 gondolas. 11:29 a.m. Aug 4.

UP 4761, 1:49 p.m. The man waving is John C. Jones, who is the official
photographer for UP in the state and has permission to be on the
property. I was off the property using my zoom lens.

UP 9476, 2:04 p.m. Aug 4. It was 98 degrees and very hazy.

The Union Station clock works and it's 2:10 p.m. Amtrak's northbound
Texas Eagle No. 22 is about to arrive, 15 hours late.

Rounding the curve south of the station.

Leaving for St. Louis and Chicago.
