Sunday, September 12, 2004 at Union Station in Little Rock, Arkansas. Colorful array of locomotives today, including a BNSF northbound empty coal train and HLCX 6242, former Trona Railway of California. Robin Thomas said this locomotive was used on the Trona Railway in California to haul borax.  Also UP 3847 came by with only two enclosed high-level cars and we heard it was the Voight Special. What were these cars carrying? Also, thanks to Joe Roddy who gave me a list of the UP locomotive roster. To contact me, click HERE. DPU BNSF 5060 on rear of northbound empty coal train. The train had stopped here for a few minutes. The head end was across the Arkansas River past UP's Jenks Shops.

BNSF 8807, 923 a.m.

The couplers almost look as real as Kadee :-)

Taken from up the stairs at the station. Since the train was parked, I thought I'd get a few roster shots.

Bye......
