LEFT-UP 4868 at 9:25 a.m. RIGHT-9:57 a.m. CST

LEFT-UP 4570, 9:57 a.m. RIGHT-A railfan's emergency gear. The shadow of
the bottle in the lower portion of the photo was a Diet Mountain Dew
bottle...honest.

LEFT-UP 1539 makes one of its frequent trips past here at 11:28 a.m.
Oct 29. RIGHT-ATW boxcar already messed up with 'art.'

LEFT-UP 3390, a single GP-40, on an intermodal at 11:37 a.m.
RIGHT-Tracks at Union Staton, south part of station. First track is the
Amtrak siding, second track is Track 2, third track is Track 1, fourth
track is the Little Rock & Western's line over the former Rock
Island to Perry and Danville, Arkansas. LRWN curves to the north here
and ends up on the old Rock Island around the curve, then goes
westward.

LEFT-NS 8940, 11:52 a.m. RIGHT-Golden West boxcars.

CSX boxcars.

Brand new tank cars. We could still smell the fresh paint.
