SEVEN KATY GONDOLAS  were on a train passing Union Station in Little Rock today, October 24. This train had nothing but empty gondolas, over 100, taking them northward toward the North Little Rock yards. I also found a more-scenic view for some of the photos, since they cleared off part of the lots south of the station.

Six red and one green KATY gondolas were on the train headed by UP3000 about 1120 a.m. Oct 24.




Not to slight other roadnames, here's MoPac, SP and D&GRW gondolas.


My new angle to photograph, or at least one of them, to break up the monotomy of Union Station views. This spot in right behind the Arkansas State Capital parking  lot, however, and the Capital police patrol it frequently and being here on a weekend might arouse their suspicions.
