Sunday, November 16, 2003 at Union Station in Little Rock. Foggy, but some 'pure' Cotton Belt and SP locomotives. Trains were not too frequent today. All photos by Ken Ziegenbein. Use or print any way you want to.

A pure although faded Cotton Belt locomotive number 9698 heads northbound at 910 a.m. on November 16.

Bursting through the fog at 950 am was CSX 8376.

RIGHT- Tracks are still under the weeds going to the old casket company. Theoretically you could still park cars here.

Pure SP5368 northbound at 1128 a.m.

The line to the Rivermarket Distric in Little Rock, which used to run next to the Arkanas River to downtown Little Rock, has been taken up recently. The right-of-way was given to the city in 2002. RIGHT-A Canadian Pacific gondola.

The shrouded in fog Arkansas State Capitol as seen from Union Station.

A southbound coal train passed at 1149 a.m. with UP 8045 in the lead followed by another 'pure' SP locomotive, No. 182. Lake 'Zee' was full, showing the train's reflection quite well.
