SATURDAY, MAY 3, 2003 at Conway, Arkansas during their annual Toad Suck Crafts and Entertainment Festival. The festival is held downtown and numerous UP trains come through there. You will see the crowds crossing Main Street with special crossing guards protecting the trains from the crowd. There were 3 coal trains and one mixed freight during the 3 hours I was there. SP366 was the trailing unit.


Another NLR bound coal train with UP7238 in the lead at 228 pm about to cross Main Street in Conway.


CNW/UP67629 was the second unit. Trailing unit was UP6771.




UP6635, 347 pm with an empty coal train heading west.


I lucked out and was able to park on a lot close to the tracks.
