LEFT-UP 4011, 11:02 a.m. RIGHT-SF 517, 11:28 a.m. coming off the former
Rock Island from Memphis.

LEFT-SF 6769. RIGHT-I'm standing on the abandoned Rock
Island right-of-way before it crosses the former Cotton Belt, looking
to the east. The Brinkley depot is to the right.

LEFT-A Rock Island tie plate
still at its original location after over 20 years. RIGHT-Found this old Missouri Pacific car
south of Brinkley on the old Missouri Pacific track. The track ends
here at the intersection of South Grand Ave and East Sycamore. The
car's number is X15129 (or 15128). Anyone know its history? It's
storing tools now.

LEFT-Former Missouri Pacific
track, looking
to the southeast. It ends just across the road to the left and was the
line that ran through Monroe, Arkansas and farther south. RIGHT-Looking toward the northwest now from South
Grande Avenue. Brinkley is beyond the trees.

LEFT-Back-lit photo of the car.
Was this car once a baggage car or was it always a work car. It's No.
X15129 or X15128. RIGHT-CSX

LEFT-CN 5428. RIGHT-Relatively rare AD&N boxcar, this one
taken on February 25, 2006 at Brinkley.
