BNSF5314, 1149 a.m., southbound, at Clark, about 10 miles south of Krum, Texas.  This is the main north-south BNSF/Santa Fe line between Fort Worth and Oklahoma.

Amtrak's Heartland Flyer southbound through Clark, Texas, about 10 miles south of Krum, 107 p.m. March 2, 2003. Due to trackwork on the BNSF, the train left Oklahoma City at a scheduled 1-hour later time than normal. This is the route of Santa Fe's Texas Chief, on which I rode many times in the 50s and 60s.

LEFT-BNSF6184 had the words 'Lincoln' and 'Southern' on it. Jerry and I headed back to Fort Worth after this so I could catch the northbound Texas Eagle. RIGHT-Inside the new market that's using the old Santa Fe Freight house in Fort Worth. Santa Fe dispatching used to be upstairs in this building.
