12:45 p.m. southbound.

No. 411 turned left onto 3rd Street and is now heading eastbound to the
Clinton Library, 12:50 p.m. According to Bill Pollard, the old tracks
to the left in the grass are the last remnant of the freight house
tracks for Rock Island, for the later (Rector Street) RI freight house
which replaced the Choctaw terminal in 1914. This line also continued
around by the Cox building and on across Scott, extending almost to
Main Street at one time, with numerous industries and industrial spurs
along it.

Continuing eastbound on 3rd Street.

Almost at the end of the line, it turns south again, where it will
switch to the closest track and head back to downtown. The Clinton
Library is to the right.

Now heading south to the end of the line. The building to the right is
the old Rock Island Choctaw Route depot, now used as the Clinton School
of Public Service, part of the Clinton Library.

12:53 p.m. at the turn-arond point. The Clinton Library is to the
right, the bridge in the center is the old Rock Island bridge over the
Arkansas River, the building at left is the old Rock Island Choctaw
Route depot, now used as a school.

Starting back, turning left and heading west on 3rd Street. 12:56 p.m.

Westbound on 3rd Street, heading back to the River Market.
