JULY 20 in Brenham, Texas and JULY 21 at Union Station in Little Rock with a nice sunset and rainbow.

BNSF northbound going through Brenham, Texas at 308 p.m. Saturday, July 20,2002. It sort of snuck up on me.

TOP FOUR show the curved tracks in downtown Brenham, Texas, July 20. The old freight house still is used by a stage company. Note the house on the upper left  - I remember wishing I could live so close to an active railroad when I was growing up close to Brenham in the 1950s. I don't know about cutting that grass though, but train watching from the porch would be wonderful.

LEFT-UP3030 heads a train past Union Station in Little Rock, 654 p.m. July 21. RIGHT- HLCX9001 and 9019 followed the leader.

LEFT-After waiting for the signal, the train leaves. RIGHT-UP4860 leads a train northbound with unit 4857 trailing, 737 p.m. July 21.

A couple of sunset pictures at Union Station. The sign is the Amtrak sign.

Rainbow looking east. A thunderstorm was occurring just to the left of the photo, about 7 p.m.
