Sunday,
January 9, 2005 was cloudy, but there were a few interesting shots to
take at Union Station in Little Rock. One was a Kasgro 16-axle heavy
duty 450-ton depressed deck flat car. Plus there was one unaltered
Cotton Belt and one two unaltered SP units today. Contact Me if you want.

KRL (Kasgro) 450-ton Depressed Deck Flat Car No. 16450, one of only two
16-axle cars on Kasgro's roster. The car was the second to last
car on the train (shown below the stat sheet). The car's load limit is
880,000 pounds (light weight 380,000 pounds). Total length is 136'-8"
over pulling faces, with the loading deck length of 28'-0" and loading
deck height (loaded) of 4'-1". Car type is FD. A heavy sucker,
indeed. Kasgro's web site is:

Unaltered Cotton Belt (SSW) 9656 at 9:50 a.m.

Unaltered SP 8576 was the second unit. My shutter released a little too quickly.

Both units zoomed in.

Rock Island boxcar.

Patched SP 2744, 8:19 a.m.

Patched SP 2777, 9:36 a.m.

Loaded coal train headed by UP 6836, 10:49 a.m.

The DPU was unpatched SP 205.
There were more trains, but I left out all the UP power today except for a couple.
