Streetcars
in Little Rock/North Little Rock during the Christmas/New Year season
2005/2006. Quite a busy week (December 27-January 1). The streetcars
ran on New Years Day as usual.

December
27, 2005 saw standing room only on the entire-loop trolley (North
Little Rock one). There are 2 1/2 miles of track on the entire system.
This is the River Market stop in Little Rock.

2005. RIGHT-Thursday, December 29, 2005 at the River
Market stop.


LEFT-December 29. RIGHT-New
Years Eve, December 31, again at the River Market stop. This stop is
the busiest on the line as it's in the middle of the
entertainment/restaurant district.


LEFT-This
Little Rock Police horse (in front of the police substation) appears to
be watching the approaching trolley 408 about 7:30 p.m. New Years
Eve. RIGHT-Second and Scott, Dec 31.


Trolley
barn in North Little Rock, Sunday January 1, 2006. They were getting
ready to start their day shortly before 11 a.m.


RIGHT-January 1, about noon. There were mostly
tourists riding today.


LEFT-January 1, 2006 on the North Little Rock
streetcar, the one that does the entire loop. RIGHT-Looking
out the trolley's windows at downtown Little Rock from the Main Street
bridge over the Arkansas River. The trolley was southbound toward
Little Rock. It was about 4 p.m. January 1.


LEFT-A
large crowd was waiting to board at the base of the Main Street bridge
at the Chamber of Commerce stop in Little Rock around 4:21 p.m. January
1. RIGHT-Nice crowd on the last full-loop run of the
day.
