HOT SPRINGS, GLENWOOD & WESTERN
(taken October 26, 1974 by Ken Ziegenbein)
Chartered April 16, 1910. Rails taken up in 1926. It was used by the
Memphis, Paris & Gulf for trackage rights to Hot Springs from
Glenwood.

One mile northwest of Pearcy, Arkansas. The top one is looking
southwest and the one with the road is looking northeast. October 26,
1974 at 2:30 p.m.

One-half mile north of Crossroads, Arkansas, which is south of Pearcy,
looking south. October 26, 1974 at 2:55 p.m.

One and 1/2 miles northwest of Welsh, Arkansas (south of Pearcy). The
one above is looking southwest and the photo above that is looking to
the northeast. The one above shows the old roadbed the best (rails were
taken up in 1926, nearly 50 years before this photo was made on October
26, 1974).

Not sure if this was the Hot Springs, Glenwood & Western's roadbed
or not. It was taken at Glenwood, Arkansas looking to the southwest as
you are approaching the city. Taken October 26, 1974 at 4:05 p.m.
