DARDANELLE & RUSSELLVILLE RAILROAD - JANUARY 31, 2002
The following photos were taken Thursday, January
31, 2002 in Dardanelle and Russellville, Arkansas of the Dardanelle &
Russellville Railroad (D&R). It was a dark, cloudy day with a cold front
moving in from the northwest. Temperatures were in the lower 50s but quickly
cooled into the 40s. At the bottom I've added a few more I took January 14, 2002. All photos by Ken Ziegenbein.

ABOVE: D&R at the
Union Pacific interchange in Russellville, heading back to Dardanelle to
drop off cars on it's way. Time was about 9:35 a.m.
ABOVE: After dropping
off it's cars enroute, D&R AMD Engine #1143 heads back to the D&R
Yard facilities, shown here crossing busy Arkansas Highway 7 (4-lanes). Stormy
and colder weather were about to make their entrance.
