DOUGLAS, WYOMING RAILROAD MUSEUM.  I toured this excellent museum June 1, 2004. Here a several photos of great rolling stock display at the Douglas, Wyoming Railroad Museum, including a wooden stock car, a wooden CB&Q caboose, UP RPO, 1800's C&NW coach, and CB&Q steam engine 5633, a 4-8-4. They have a great display of original equipment, preserved in mostly original condition. The Douglas Chamber of Commerce is located here and conducts tours of the equipment. Also included on the other website is a BNSF coal train through Fort Laramie, Wyoming and again at Lingle, Wyoming, plus a BNSF train through Pompey's Pillar, Montana. I remember riding in a similar CB&Q dining car on my way from Childress to Fort Worth, Texas in 1959 late at night when the coach seats were full.

Inside the Silver Salvo's kitchen. Looks like the day it left service.

I could imagine the train speeding toward its destination. They've done a great job keeping the original look without altering the interior for tourist's sakes.
