Thursday, January 31, 2008 was a cold,
wet day in the Little Rock area, with rain mixed with snow and sleet
along with occasional thunder and lightning. The temperature was 33
degrees. What better time to take a picture of a train or two plus a
streetcar! Here they are, and include: UP 9679 and Central
Arkansas Streetcar 412.

Since I only have 8 photos here, I didn't make the 'clickable to
enlarge' page this time.

9:36 a.m. looking toward the Baring Cross bridge from the balcony at
Union Station. I never got the engine number of this train since it
didn't move while I was there.

Looking to the west now at UP 9679 at 9:47 a.m.

UP 9679 passing the station at 9:53 a.m. using my infrared setting.

On Main Street in North Little Rock at noon, I caught Central Arkansas
Transit's Streetcar No. 412 heading north. The Trolley Barn is to my
left.

Approaching the 7th and Main stop.
