LEFT-A rare northbound signal on this mainly UP southbound track. RIGHT-UP 2745 (old SP) at 11:42 a.m. January 6, northbound with rock train.
Anyone know where this was heading?
The ballast on the ground was already there and didn't come off the passing ballast cars. The ballast was left when track crews worked on the ties and crossties a few weeks ago.

LEFT-TFM 2623. RIGHT-UP 9788, 8:44 a.m. taken from the north side ot the depot. UP usually runs blocks of southbounders through here usually every 10-25 minutes, then there could be several hours without any trains at all.

LEFT-11:55 a.m., Conrail 8439. The track merging from the east will eventually merge onto the main north-south line a few miles south of Brinkley. RIGHT-UP 2722 about to back into the Brinkley siding at 12:21 p.m.
