KETCHIKAN (JUNE 8) - SHIP/VANCOUVER (JUNE 9-10)

June 9 we were at sea only. We had a tour of the galley plus I did step aerobics. On June 10, we left the ship (official terminology: disembarked). Going through Canadian and U.S. Customs took about 2 hours...be prepared to show your passport several times. It was raining in Vancouver. It was also a real madhouse. We got home about 1115 p.m. after a delayed flight out of the Dallas-Ft Worth Airport (I urge anyone to avoid this airport at all costs - it's really messed up - we had to sit on the runway for 35 minutes waiting for a terminal and had to run to our connecting flight).
All in all, we had a good time, but I do wish it would have been more relaxed. We were exhausted.
